Transfer Station Print

We operate the only fully licensed C&D transfer station in the City of Boston.  We want your waste whether you are a small or a large generator.  We pride ourselves on a quick turnaround time.  Our Roxbury, MA location, just off interstate 93 and Interstate 90 saves you time and money.  We also help reduce your carbon footprint by reducing the travel time to dump your container and our truck load of material.  Saving time, money and helping the environment, United we can help each other

Our facility accepts:

Construction and demolition debris, concrete and asphalt, metal, clean wood, gypsum board and sheetrock.

We are registered members of the US Green Building Council (USGBC), a national organization founded in 1993 for the purpose of promoting environmental responsibility throughout the building community.  Our membership has raised the visibility of our company as a leader in "Green Building."  The USGBC's LEED program provides United Waste Management with a unique platform to currently market our ability to recycle a large percentage of construction and demolition waste processed through our outlets.

We offer programs to construction companies allowing them to comply with "Green Building" regulations. In order to meet the requirements for the LEED Green Building Rating System, companies must recover the materials that can be recycled and/or reused. Our LEED reporting systems are state of the art, and unquestionably is the leader in the marketplace. Our projects typically exceed recycling rates in excess of 75%. Our construction waste management plans frequently achieve LEED status.

The bottom line is that we divert C&D waste from landfills for increased sustainability and reuse.  Our material management team ships asphalt and concrete to processors who convert aggregate into new base materials.  We send ferrous and non-ferrous metals to recyclers who melt the material into new products.  We sort clean wood  for reuse in the furniture and wood burning markets.  We gather sheetrock for processing at a gypsum recycler and re-manufactured wall board. We sort and package plastics and corrugated materials for re-manufacture into new products.
